This year, many families and individuals here in New Zealand will have to rely on local foodbanks. No person should ever experience this, but sadly it is a reality for many.
Every December, Game Over Queenstown runs a Can Drive, encouraging locals and visitors to make food donations. In exchange, we offer them free experiences here at Game Over Queenstown.
No purchase required, no gimmicks. Just people, giving what they can to help those who need a little help.
For Game Over’s 3rd Annual Can Drive we are offering 15mins FREE Video Game Arcade play, in exchange for a donation of any item of canned food (or any other non-perishable food item).
We ask 2 things:
1. You give only what you can.
2. You return the card afterwards – So we can re-use it for the next person.
Our Can Drive will run from now until 24th December 2022. With one collection being taken before and another after Christmas. Ensuring your donations get to those who need them. The food will go to the local Salvation Army Store and be available to anyone who may need it.
Every year we are blown away by the generosity of our customers, friends, and neighbours. This year we know we can do even more. So, raid your pantries, hit up your local supermarkets! If you’ve got the food to spare, we have the FREE Arcade Play for you to enjoy!
